BIOVALLEY
As a unique project established in the heart of Europe, bringing together Alsace in France, South Baden in Germany and Northwest Switzerland, with as centers Strasbourg, Freiburg and Basel, BioValley was one of the first European initiatives for the promotion and the development of life sciences. It has grown to become one of the leading life sciences regions in the world.
DECHEMA
DECHEMA (Society for Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology) is a non-profit scientific and technical society based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It has more than 5,500 private and institutional members, among them scientists, engineers, companies, organisations and institutes. Jobst Technologies is member of the temporary working group “Single use technologies in biopharmaceutical production” and co-author of its actual state-of-the-art paper.
European Organ-on-Chip Society (EUROoCS)
EUROoCS is an independent, not-for-profit organization established to encourage and develop Organ-on-Chip research, and to provide opportunities to share and advance knowledge and expertise in the field towards better health for all. It brings together a broad audience including the general public and institutions (government, health foundations, charities), the academic research community (universities, research institutes), the pharmaceutical industry, other industries (cosmetics, chemical, environmental toxicity and food industries), hospitals, medical centers and medical practitioners, patients associations, policy makers and testing centers.
IVAM Microtechnology Network
IVAM creates trustful international connections between developers, manufacturers and users of high-tech products. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises and their needs as well as on representation of their interests. It offers offers well-founded orientation in the high-tech landscape and provides valuable know-how, e.g. through expert groups or studies, on strategic questions concerning target markets, funding opportunities, application trends or innovation management.
